I bought this years ago from the popular auction site.
It was sent to Akron Antique Audio for a rebuild. The receipt for the work done (Jan, 2010) is included, $413.25. A photo copy of the manual and a matched extra tube will be sent along as well.
The amplifier has been in my hobby/2nd system and not seen much use. It has performed trouble free. The sound is typical of other vintage tube gear I have owned, on the heavier side and can take the edge off digital recordings. The phono stage is decent and was used regularly.
The amplifier is over 50 years old and being sold AS-IS on arrival. I cannot guarantee every solder joint on this amplifier. I have plenty of packing experience, turntables, tube gear and ect.
The face plate has multiple scratches, but not dented. The condition is difficult to rate considering it's age and the work done.
