Stromberg-Carlson AR411 Mono Vacuum Tube Amplifiers (pair)
Unique and rare vintage 1959 Stromberg-Carlson Tube mono-block amps.
Sounds wonderful, great for Office or Den.
Electrically restored and fully operational.
Amps have Volume, Treble, Bass and Input Selector.
Included with amplifiers (10) NOS JAN 6CM6 Power Tubes.
All tubes in the amps are tested for shorts, H-K leakage and Merit on calibrated EICO 667 Tester.
Amps have US 6AV6, Telefunken 12AT7's, Tesla ECC83 & Sovtek 5Y3's
Each amplifier weights approximately 13 lbs (6 kg) and measure 13"w x 7" d x 3.5" h (w33cm x d17.7cm x h8.9cm).
Estimate boxed shipping weight to be close to 30 lbs (13.6kg)
Box size approximately 22" (55cm) x 15" (38cm) x 13" (33cm)
Condition: For a pair of 1959 amplifiers I would rate them physically 8/10 and 7/10 cosmetically, electrically they are 10/10.
One of the AR411's has fading on the top front panel silver stripe.
The Knobs and amplifiers have not been cleaned with any chemicals.
The Bronze colored Knob inserts should polish up nicely.
Both amps are complete with bottom covers and new power cords with heavy-duty AC plugs, the old power cables were cracked/brittle.
Sold as Vintage Equipment, fully operational, but no warranty due to age.
Shipping USPS Priority Mail insured $50 Lower 48 and $95 to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. I charge actual cost so above rates I pulled from the USPS site. Could be less, could be more.
