Maxed out Bottlehead Foreplay tube preamp. Whispers stepped attenuator volume controls, C4S constant current sources, Audio Note aluminum foil in oil coupling caps, Riken resistors. Preamp sounds great, but has a buzz that is noticeable with standard speakers, and is very audible with high sensitivity speakers. It does not increase with the volume control. I used it as is for two years, but please consider it a project. Please review my feedback here and on Audiogon. Preamp will be very carefully packed for shipment.
