ACI Sapphire II and Sub I system. Sapphires come with sand-filled stands. Oak finish in excellent condition, no scratches or dents.These are a mid-90's design from Mike Dzurko at Audio Concepts, Inc. Speakers are two-ways with a Focal tweeter and woofer. They use aperiodic loading and first-order crossovers. The subwoofers are not powered and run off your amp, and the satellite speakers can then be run through the high pass of the subwoofer crossover. Check out the link to the review in the Audio Critic where they beat out the Spicas. They sound clear and detailed but still very musical. Connect the pair of subwoofers and run the satellites through the high pass connections and the dynamics really come alive. With some good tube power you've got a giant killer of a system. Local pick up only in Portland, OR, although I'd be open to crating them and shipping them.
