Altec Lansing 256C amplifier was used by me in a mono setup playing through an Altec Lansing A5 VOTT. I always thought that I would find a second one of these amps at a reasonable price and be able to put together a stereo setup. This never happened, I sold the A5 VOTT a few years back , so now it's time to move this beautiful work of engineering on to a new owner. I will guarantee that all of the transformer are good.The amplifier ran as it should the last time I powered it up a couple of months ago , however, as with all old (60+ years) electronic equipment, it may need servicing again in the future.There is a website out there ,that has the operators manual for this amp, when I find it, I will post it here. This is of course a very heavy amplifier, weighing close to 70 pounds. I will ship this amp globally for the cost of USPS Shipping, no packing , material , or any other hidden fees.
