Rega Research Elicit-R Integrated Amp - USED - AS IS - $950 OBOPLEASE READ DESCRIPTION IN FULL: Looking for a good sounding POWER AMPLIFIER, but don't have the bucks to afford something good? I have a good deal here for you. This $3,000 retail Rega Research Elicit-R 105 W/Ch Integrated amp has experienced a malfunction with its volume control circuit (surface mount chip(s)) that has left it's preamp functions non functioning (i.e. NONE of the standard Inputs 1 through 5, phono and tape work - NO sound through them). Repair due to various issues which would mean replacing the circuit board (a attempted repair of replacing the failed chip did not work due to damage to several fragile surface mount traces that occurred during the repair) for the whole amp which is VERY expensive to do. BUT, this Elicit-R still has VERY FULLY 100% functional DIRECT (i.e power amp input - see pics) input which allows it to be used as a very nice sounding 105W/Ch power amplifier. I have been using the Elicit-R this way for the past several weeks (on 24/7) as a power amp with zero issues - it is a quite good sounding power amp. The unit is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition and comes as you see it complete with box and manual (no remote). Yours for only $950 plus ship! Reasonable offers will be considered.
