The function list will serve practically any modern-day need, for sure, but more important is how this amp sounds. It's detailed and musical, with excellent warmth, depth and presence. Rhythm and pace sets the toes to tapping in fine fashion. The 56wpc/8 ohm rating is clearly conservative, as it has grunt to spare. The half-size architecture makes in convenient if you don't happen to live in the Taj Mahal, but with your eyes closed you'd swear you were listening to a considerably sized solid state power amp with a tubed preamp.
