Factory-built (NOT a kit!) 300B monoblock amps with finesse and cojones. Like many amps based on the legendary Western Electric 91A amplifier, the Ladyday can rock and swing, whisper and growl. This particular pair was reviewed by Mike Quinn in JazzTimes (see link* below), and then shipped to me when the review was completed. Supplied with matched pairs of TJ 300B globe meshplates, Russian 310a, and Valve Arts 274b. Lots of great parts were used throughout, including Audio Note tantalim resistors, UX4 and octal teflon sockets, silver wiring, and teflon coupling caps. The amps are in great condition, both cosmetically and operationally. I have too much equipment, so it's time to clear the decks and sell some things that are getting far too little use. The Ladyday amps cost more than $2800 new. I think my price of $1645 is fair for the tremendous performance offered. Shipping will be in three separate boxes, one for each amplifier and another for the tubes. Each chassis weighs c. 35 pounds. I have the manual as a .pdf on my computer; I can either burn the manual to a cd and include it with the shipment, or send the file attached to an email, at the preference of the buyer.
