REGA RESEARCH PLANAR 25 (P25) TURNTABLE - USED - $650. This table is a single owner trade-in. The P25 features Rega's direct plinth mount motor drive with vibration reduction circuit motor set-up that runs on 120V/60hz (i.e. external 120V/60hz type turntable precision turntable power supplies can be used with it). This particular P25 has the Rosewood type color finished wood surround. The wood surround is in very good condition with none of the wood shrinkage that exposes gaps in the finger joints that I have seen on some other P25's. The plinth is in very good condition though the dustcover does have several scratches (beyond the light swirly type marks that ALL the plastic dust covers get) in it though and because of that and the arm has a wear mark on the arm-tube from the arm lock that slides over the arm to secure it - I have graded this table a 7/10. Operationally, we have fully checked the arm and table out and all is in great shape. Speed, tracking force, etc all check out terrific and the RB600 arm and with its high quality Klotz wiring and WBT RCA's is in great shape. It did not come with its original packaging, but we have supplied a NEW set of factory packaging with the turntable! It does not come with a cartridge (we removed the old one as it was past its prime for sure). These never last long when we get them in, so grab it while you can!
