The Grado RA1 is designed to get the highest quality sound from your headphones. While designed specifically for Grado cans, the RA1 will improve the sound of any high quality headphones. This unit, made from a solid block of mahogony, is the AC version, and cost $425 new. It's just one month old, and I'm selling at a great price because I'm purchasing a DAC that includes a headphone amp, and don't need two. This model received the Editor's Choice Award from Absolute Sound magazine. I used this with the Grado SR325i's, and noticed a more defined bottom, better detail and presence.
