SALE PENDINGOffering an MHDT Havana Dac with spare tubes and 2 pair of extra J model dac chips included in sale are 1.) Havana Dac
.) 2 extra pairs of dac chips J model direct from MHDT
.) 1 Western Electric JW2c51 / 391A 1951 vintage about 200 hours use
>) 1 NOS 60's vintage Raytheon 5670 windmill getter
.) 1 NOS 50's vintage RCA 5670
.) 2 GE 5670 tubes one 80's vintage 1 50's vintage all tubes were used long enough to get an idea how they sounded I ended up preferring the WE JW2c51 and it has about 200 hours use, I have 2 spare pair of the dac chips that were sent to me by MHDT as 1 of the original chips developed a static sound, I bought a pair from Texas Instruments through ebay which are what is currently in the dac and they sound great with no static etc... so the 4 jmodel are new and unused. This is the only problem ever experienced with this dac you get the Dac 900.00, the tubes 125.00 and spare chips 40.00 all for 550.00 plus shipping There are countless reviews on the net about the Havana dac, and if you are partial to Vinyl playback you will now love digital playback, the Havana gets you about as close to vinyl SQ as any Dac can, Only selling due to a NOS dac upgrade at quite a higher price I have lots of feedback on audiogon under joespride so no worries condition is near mint and 100 percent functional, you will not get a better Dac at this price, Tubes being what they are I cannot warranty / guarantee them beyond DOA
