iFi Audio has made some improvements to their product line-up which have left us with a (one) now discontinued ($305 retail) iDAC in stock (the iDAC has just been replaced with the new iDAC2) and also a couple iUSB Power Supply units ($199 each) which are not current (iUSB Power Supply units are now [as of July] shipping with iFi Audio's new "iPower" wall wart power supply. Price for the new iUSB units with the iPower included is now $229).The iDAC though discontinued, is still a pretty sweet little USB DAC. Uses ESS Sabre DAC and supports up to 24/192 sample rates and has received many very favorable reviews. This is a terrific DAC for small systems, desk-top use and more. Since it does run off USB bus power, using it with the iUSB power supply and the Gemini dual head USB cable kicks up its performance another notch or two IMO.
