In the above photo the minimal light 2 plinth is holding TD124 SN 7888. The TD124 will be available separately in another ad in the near future.
This ad is for the plinth seen in the photos. I see it as a 'Demo unit' in that I have been using it for the past couple of months, since its construction. It is in use on chassis sn#13943 as seen in the next photo.
Please note; this sale is for the plinth, not the TD124.
I am happy with the sound qualities of the TD124 while fitted within this framework. sn#13943 fairly well sings in this one. And I state this while having heard this motor unit while mounted within heavy slate plinths, open box plinths and others. So I will say it; my 'two good ears' prefer this current build even over heavy slate.
I am selling now because I am making plans for another similar plinth which I will build soon. That means this one is now free to find another home.
More about Min Lt 2:
It is called 'minimal Light 2. Being the 2nd take on my light rigid philosophy as applied to the TD124.
Like the first version,(Min Lt1), Min Lt2 features rigidity of build while carrying no more mass, or taking up any more space than it needs to.

Above photo shows the underneath side of the plinth construction.

This build includes two wood types. The bottom four levels are in Baltic Birch Multi-Ply. The upper 3 levels are MDF. Hide glue is the adhesive.
The heavy rubber footers are included. Also included is mounting hardware to fasten your Td124 within.
The outside coating is highly textured black enamel. The wood grain will not show through ever.
