This unit new sells for $1,895 with 3 Valid Points resonance control feet (included).Designed for all turntables using a 115/120 v AC motor, the Walker Precision Motor Controller stabilizes the electrical power to your turntable and precisely controls the motor speed. It reduces the cogging effect caused by variation in your home's power voltage and frequency, allowing the turntable motor to run more smoothly. The unit has user-adjustable settings to the exact speed, with minimal drift. This also solves the problems created due to variations in manufacturing tolerances of the pulleys and platters. There is fine-tuning provided through an electrical phase switch, an important feature as all AC drive motors are sensitive to absolute phase. You can easily change between 33 1/3 and 45 rpms with a simple flip of a switch. The benefits are clearly audible in a larger, more stable, and transparent sound stage, with faster dynamics, and better harmonics. Using this provides better bass, more detail, and a bigger soundstage. The overall result is a more lifelike presentation. An added advantage is the unit's size which allows it to fit more easily on most overcrowded equipment racks. It's 8 inches wide x 17.5 inches deep and 5 inches tall with the Valid Points.
