Your speaker wire acts as an antenna and adds RF and EMI "grunge" to the cable and signal and the sound you here. The product filters at high frequency to remove this "grunge" and better able the actual signal and nothing else to get from your amp to your speakers clearly. There are other products on the market that do the exact same thing or very similar but for a lot more money. EconoTweaks philosophy is to deliver the same excellent performance but for a lot less money! We think we have done so! Our latest design has upgraded matched pair 10 section Multicaps and upgraded resistors that have really improved the HF over the basic versions which used WIMA metalized paper caps. The new version offered now also has as 12 gauge annealed solid silver wire with a clear Teflon jacket. We also use WBT silver solder and Audioquest silver spades. These upgrades have really improved the quality of an already great product.
