Previous top model from Ortofon. Outstanding tonal consistency with a sophisticated, detailed and agile presentation. Totally unflustered by complex musical passages with the best tracking of any MC cartridge I've owned. Panoramic soundstaging.
I bought this cartridge from a member of another forum here in Australia to replace my previous Jubilee. The original purchaser bought the cartridge new from William Thakker where it is currently listed at $1695. My price reflects the fact that I am not the original purchaser.
The original purchaser put <50hrs on the cartridge before deciding to go with something else. I've added a conservative 30-40hrs of additional use.
I had this mounted on my second Phantom arm wand, but have decided not keep it as I mainly use my modded Denon.
