Bluetooth audio receiver with RCA output and 5VDC wall adapter (not included)
Connect your amplifier or your active speakers, and stream music from your portable device via bluetooth (A2DP).
The Mini WLSB-5 uses the BlueCore® CSR8630 bluetooth chip, that ensures a quality sound and a seamless pairing with almost any bluetooth device supporting v4.0
Once connected to your amplifier or active speakers, and paired with your mobile device (phone, tablet...), you can stream music from your portable device directly on your audio system.
IMPORTANT NOTES: This receiver aims to be a simple, with good audio quality and "easy to setup" solution for adding bluetooth audio streaming on any audio system via a RCA LINE IN input. The Mini WLSB-5 doesn't include any buffer or amplifier circuit, so the outuput voltage (0.7V at 1kHz) is inferior of most of other commercial brands devices (like cd players...) that have an output level of approx. 2V, so expect an inferior level with the Mini WLSB-5.
For the best results, it is recommended to follow the next advices:
- the Mini WLSB-5 must be connected close to the amplifier and with short interconnects to avoid any audible loss in the frequency response. (A pair of CRR050M interconnect cables of 50cm is available as an option). A version with a small included buffer/amplifier will be available soon...
- Use the Mini WLSB-5 exclusively with the included wall adapter that offers a stable and clean power to the circuit in order to avoid interferences and distorsions. Fixed 1.5m cable is included (micro-B USB). (we must avoid the similar but noisier 5VDC wall adapters that we use to charge our phones for example...)
- Some mobile devices create some interferences that may be audible when they are with Wifi ON at the same time that they are paired via bluetooth with the Mini WLSB-5. In such cases, turn Wifi OFF for best results.
