Most have no idea what a real performance-oriented line conditioner will do to a playback system's level of musicality. Some-to-many line conditioners do nothing or worse induce their own sonic harm and finding a truely superior line conditioner that actually cleanses or purifies the noisy AC is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Once you've become accustomed to the fabulous level of increased musicality of proper line conditioning, (a rare event), you'll no longer tolerate listening to any system for more than 10 - 20 minutes that does not employ superior line conditioning. In addition to purifying the noisy AC exceedingly well, the LC-100 is passive (draws no current to itself), dedicated, and bi-directional filtering. Foundation Research has been defunct for several years now so that makes this LC-100 a very rare find.
