For sale -- Winegard no longer made FM only Yagi style antenna. I used this antenna combined with a rotator for 18 yrs and took it down only to move. Being I have a new in the box APS 13 which is also unobtanium I will let this one go as it has more years left of service as long as properly installed (I used support guy wires attached to the mast as part of its installation to ensure stability during wind and storms) It is of course in its senior years but all elements except 1 will swing out and back in for storage. Somehow I lost a sleeve that holds the element and attaches by rivet.. So now it works by using 2 screws to hold the element (see pic) which does not let the element swing back or out but kept in one position. Which is not a problem as can just be attached to its location when putting up antenna and leave it. All other elements work as they should and there is a total of 22 elements and overall a bit over 10 feet long when assembled. The pic showing rusty bracket type clamp is where it attaches (using U bolts) to a short length (no more than 6 ") of aluminum pipe of which attaches to the rotator.
I can give all the particulars in order to have your installation last for years and esp the rotator. Mine lasted more than 10 . To utilize for optimal function a rotator ( Channel Master best bet) needs to be installed on your mast - These are still being sold in various venues and instruction for properly installing rotator which comes with remote and controller.. Its a days project and there are ancillary parts needed for the job and glad to provide info for the installation. Interestingly , parts needed are more easily found then a Yagi antenna of this type. Winegard no longer makes. It all breaks down to fit inside a box almost 6 feet long and 6 x 6 inches on the other dimensions. I will find another box to fit over the original and add padding. If you are a tuner person and have the living situation where by you can install a rooftop rotatable antenna you are in for a real revelation in sound quality by using a rooftop antenna. I sound like a salesman but I listened for years using dipole and after installing rooftop the difference is astounding. While of course the sound improvement is noticeable-- stations that were essentially unlistenable now can become a regular listening experience. Actual cost of shipping determined during transaction.
