The Allsonics custom gainclone is an all out assault utilizing the 3886. Shortest possible signal path with custom machined aluminum heat sinks. Vishay naked metal foil resistors, silver hookup wire, WBT input connectors, Panasonic FM decoupling caps, and Sonicap GEN 1 film caps. Separate power supply is fully regulated. Power is 35 watts/channel into 8 ohms. This amp has rhythm, pace, and detail and is very quiet. I have moved up to the Allsonics battery powered amplifiers.
