Especially for under $200.The vintage classic GAS Grandson Stereo Power Amplifier was created by James Bongiorno, renowned amp designer at SAE. It is conservatively rated at 40 W/ch into 8 Ohms, 80 W/ch into 4 Ohms and 120 W/ch into a 2 Ohm load. The build is very solid with large power supply and heat sinks that can be seen in the pictures. While in nice condition for its age, the amp has light marks and a mar on the face-plate and one on the top that are visible in the pictures. I did not try to remove/cover the mars. The amp is in fully working order (and sounds great imho). The guy I bought it from noted "a subtle hum while the amp is on but no music is playing. The hum cannot be heard once the music begins."
