Powers up / tunes stations, even without a proper antenna (just the red / black wires on the left side, pictured). I do not own a proper antenna to test weak stations. NOTE, THIS IS A TUBE TUNER, NOT THE MORE COMMON FM3 SOLID STATE TUNER. Looks good overall with some noticeable but not horrible scuffs / scratches on top (see pics). Tubes all light, and I can only guess that they're original (from the look of them). Included is 2 complete sets of matching banana plugs (8 plugs, 4 red - 4 black). These are smaller than modern size and very hard to find. They came with the set and fit the amp nicely. I bought this from the son of original owner, who passed about a year ago. Bought by a military family while in England, I'm told....I found no reason to doubt based on the home I found it in. Other than that, I don't know it's history or if there's been any service(s) ever performed...my guess is not, this looks original to my eye, but as stated, I don't know. Anyhow, condition is not "Mint", but quite nice in my opinion and it's complete and working. I believe it would be rare to find a set like this in any condition, let alone this nice. Please inspect pictures carefully, and check "the big auction site" for a few more pictures. The last picture shows scratches on the tuner - that's by far the worst of it. That picture was taken under a 1,000 watt halogen light in addition to the room lighting in order to highlight the blemishes. As with any vintage electronics, this is as-is no warranty or guarantee. I am in no hurry to sell - I will hold out for the right buyer or keep for my personal collection. I will only ship to the 48 continental US states, buyer pays actual shipping and paypal fees (or you can send money as "friends and family" and avoid the paypal fees).
