I have 2, Quad 405 amplifiers in excellent working condition. A few bumps and minor scratches on the tops as you can see in the pics, but nothing too terrible. These were originally introduced back in the '70's and stayed in Quad's line for many years. They are still a GREAT sounding amplifier sought after by many for their sweet, musical sound (I actually have another that I'm keeping for myself!). Quad's "current dumping" technology is well known for it's musical purity and ability to drive many different speakers very well. 100W/ch into 8 ohms with dynamics, pace, liquid mids like you won't believe... one of those classic designs that stands the test of time. $300 each.I have throughly cleaned and checked these, running them not only with dynamic driver speakers, but with panels as well, including Quad 57's. They function flawlessly. I have the original AC cables for them with right angle IEC connector, but I would highly encourage an improved after-market cable of some sort. I do not have any of the original packing or boxes, but they will be expertly packed and prepared for shipment.
