For Sale, a pair of absolutely wonderful and rare AES SixPac EL-34 based tube monoblocks designed by Dennis Had (previously of CARY Audio, now of Inspire HAD). These have the likewise rare and exceptional Jensen paper-in-oil capacitors installed from the factory. Wonderful sound, and the anchor to my $50k system for over 10 years, easily besting many tube and SS amps (recently sold my $9k Modwright KWA150SE as these sounded so much better overall). They will come with a set of excellent NOS input tubes ($150 worth) with low hours, and Mullard el34s with a few months of use and a new set ($300) of Tung-Sol el34's. The Tung-Sols are the best, top-to-bottom el34 of the very many I've tried in these amps. Having owned many amps over the years, from SS, to digital to tubes, I strongly believe these are the best amps you can buy for anywhere near my asking price. With a strong 50 wpc they played like a 100WPC SS amp on my 88dB sensitivity full range Von Schweikert speakers, with exceptional and deep bass, rich, textured, round and 3D mid range and clean highs. Daftly selling because of recent high efficiency speaker purchase and moving to SETs. The amps are a little dusty in the photos and do have a few very small blemishes here and there that only very close inspection reveals. I will ship in Original Factory Boxes.
