Sadly, I am doing some serious downsizing of my system, therefore: Up for sale is my gently used pair of Audiopax Model 88 mono block amps. These are the absolute best amps I have ever owned...PERIOD! And I have owned a lot. They are mint with the exception of two small chips in the paint on the base of one of the amps, (approx. the size of the head of a pin) hence the 8 rating. I have upgraded Gold Lion Re-issues KT-88 with low hours, as well as several other Kt-88 tubes to play with. The ability to bias the tubes on the fly, is extremely helpful to fine tune the sonic signature of your rig based on there speaker/cable interface. Arguably the best amp ever made for Avantgarde horn speakers, which is what I own, these amps are rated at 30watts, so you will need a fairly efficient pair of speakers.
