Great sounding ST-70 with highly desirable Welborne Labs mod. Nice wood surround chassis, chrome shows age with some pitting, could be buffed to shine more. Welborne mod is a substantial mod, see the inside photo - it is a substantial improvemnet the sound of the stock dynaco. The power transformer (a weakness of the riginal design) has been replaced with a new upgraded version from Triode Electronics. EL34s are JJ and have plenty of life left in them. Amp is biased and is plug and play ready for you.These mods were done by the original owner, I am the second owner and unfortunately my wife is pressuring for me to sell off my extra gear.
