For sale is a David Berning ZH-230 amplifier. This amplifier is almost never seen on the used market. The amplifier is in excellent condition with no cosmetic or functional issues. It comes with the Stillpoints Ultra SS feet and also Stillpoints vibration controlling technology inside. I have the original boxes and manual. The unit will come with two sets of vacuum tubes. The set currently in the amp consists of the standard 33JV6 output tubes and then 4 Brimar 6060 Yellow T tubes which are one of, if not the finest example of the 12AT7 tube and extremely hard to find and very expensive (Brent Jesse sells them for $275/pair but is always sold out). The backup set of tubes consists of 33JV6 output tubes and then 4 Amperex Philips 7062 tubes, which Dick Olsher (Absolute Sound) preferred over the stock tubes that came with the unit. I preferred the Brimars over the Amperex. These two sets of tubes should last a lifetime as David Berning says that a set of tubes will last 10,000 hours in this amplifier.
