EICO HF-81, unit is an early production, serial # 8685.Upgrades include: hermetically sealed PIO coupling caps.
Dale power and bypass resistors. Fresh caps in the power
supply and cathode bias. Tubes include old stock 6BQ5, RCA's RCA 6CA4's, RCA long
blach plate 12AX7's, RCA clear top 12AU7's and Sylvania
12AX7's in the excellent phono section. Of the many HF-81's I have restored/refurbished over the
years, this one is amoung the very best. It has been
cosmetically refinished and sounds absolutely fantastic.
