Very clean pair of Eico HF22 power amps that have been fully restored using Russian PIO coupling caps, and are in excellent working condition. Used in spare system with maybe 100-150 hours of use max. One of the best sounding Eico amps ever produced, it is a variant of the British Mullard type and incorporates a Ultra-Linear output stage using 6L6GB's, an EF86 pentode at the input as a voltage amplifier, whose gain stage is direct-coupled to the 6SN7GTB phase splitter for increased speed, and a 5U4GB rectifier. Tubes are included, along with custom octal plugs that serve as a power switch, without any modification to the chassis. Power cords have been replaced with heavy duty grounded ones, and original power supply caps have been replaced.
Due to the age of these amplifiers, I cannot provide any warranty, except that they are currently in excellent working condition, and I have had zero problems with them before or since the restoration was done.
I would prefer local pickup (NYC area), and would be glad to demo them for the buyer at that time. I can also arrange delivery within a reasonable distance from my location.
