From my personal collection, I am offering a superb and fully restored HH Scott LK-150 power amplifier. The restoration work was performed by the renowned "Scottfixer" guru Foster Blair who also does the restoration work for Mapleshade Audio in Maryland. As you can see from the photos, this was a complete restoration rebuild from the chassis up. Nothing was spared or compromised. The power and two triode drivers have new ceramic and gold pined sockets. The triodes were re-wired to replace the "so so " 7199's with the super triode 6CG7's. New speaker wire connectors set at 8 ohms. New power cord assembly. The tube compliment includes four Sovtek KT-88's, two Sovtek 5AR4's and two super triode green Sylvania military jan 6CG7's. These tubes are difficult to come by. All tubes have approximately 100 hours or less of playing time. If interested, I still have, and will include for an additional $200, the original Tung-Sol 6550's that came with the amplifier. They are well used, but still have good life in them. If interested, you can indicate so at the point of purchase. The chassis has only minor wear with no heavy scratches or marks. The lettering is 100% as can be seen. There are a few scuffs on the power transformer that I tried to capture with the photos. The bias meter sticks sometimes and you have to gently tap the meter front and it will jump into action. Otherwise, it works perfectly. This is a superb sounding power amplifier that I have had paired up with my restored Scott 355 AM/FM preamp that I also have listed for sale. You may wish to take a look at it. This is as good as it gets for this power amp, so I hope you will give it consideration. They just rarely turn up like this anywhere. This is a plug and play unit!
