This is a really cool looking and extremely lovely-sounding bespoke 15-17 wpc EL84/6BQ5 power amplifier. Housed in a "Voice Of Music" chassis, it was purchased last week from the builder on somewhat of a whim with the intention of doing a shootout with my Sophia Electric Baby...in the interim I have fallen so completely in love with the Baby that I've decided this one should go to someone who can really enjoy it. Included is the entire original tube complement (4 x EL84 / 6BQ5, 1 x 5U4, 1 x 12AX7) and I will also throw in a new-testing 'holy grail' Telefunken smooth plate, diamond bottom 12AX7. The chassis top is refinished in a classy antique white enamel with teal transformers and a red name badge to really give it that 1950's danish modern appearance. Also this amplifier has been fully serviced with the following upgrades and tests: A full recap in both the power supply and coupling stages, A line fuse was added for protection and safety, Gold binding posts and RCA jacks for superb signal transfer, and a hand made bottom cover with classy gold feet, and a on/off power switch. All resistors were measured and tested within their tolerances. All tubes tested strong on a B&K 707 Dyna Jet tube checker.This amplifier is plug and play, and ready for any pre-amp of your choice.
