These Hogan PX 25 mono amps are some of the last amps produced by John, and he told the original owner that he put a lot of time in to them, I am second owner. the tube compliment consists of 5U4 rectifier, 26 and 6SN7 drivers, and 5v PX25. The amps will also run 300B. I am rating these amps as a 7 due to the nature of how John produced amps (duct tape on chokes, etc),
but they are as original and in excellent condition. They have separate volume controls and hum pots. These amps put out about 8 watts/channel and have some of the best midrange I have ever heard on my system (Tonian Labs 12.1 classic PHY speakers). Price includes an extra set of full Music PX25 tubes (both sets test excellent), 26 tubes, RCA grey glass 6SN7 (they sounded the best on these amps, even better than Tungsol roundplates) and 5U4GB tubes (the 5U4 tubes shown not included). No power cords included. I have three Hogan amps and they are all great, just thinning the herd.
