i am selling a very rare Korneff clone 45 set amp built by Min at Tube Audio Lab in CA . Min has closed shop so it will get even harder now to get one of these amps.
i have overextended my audio budget by quiet a bit and need to sell a few of my toys , i also have two monarchy sm70 pro, rawson aleph j, jwn tube amp for sale . Min sold these for just over $2000 without all the upgraded parts I will detail below. This is a very special sounding amp for the right high efficiency speakers. Your speakers should be at least 97db efficient and 98db and over is even better. Tubes included; 2 General Electric 6sn7

Rhodium/silver plated Cardas binding post Cardas RCA's All electrolytics caps under the good were replaced with high end Solen film caps Mills MRA resistors replaced sandcast Vishay Z Foil 2575 resistors Upgraded Jensen copper foil coupling caps JFX JB premium film caps Damping sheet on bottom plate The cost of these upgrades bring to total cost of the amp to some $2500. No part values were changed from original, simply used far better parts quality in key positions. No circuit modifications were done. This is the Jeff Korneff design with top shelf parts. Forgot to mention that Min built these amps with the top quality Electroprint transformers. Yes, they are costly and very, very good. The amp looks the same as the day Min built it and has a DIY case fit and finish thus my 7 rating. As you can see the pictures show the amp presents itself very well indeed.
