Upgrades: custom hand wound transformers, Cardas binding posts, KT 120 inputs, and mechanical dampening treatment was applied to the transformers by Roger Modjeski. Balanced inputs ONLY.
A very neutral, detail oriented amp great with mids and vocals. I'm selling because the rest of my rig is already quite bright and I'm looking for something that has a bit more stereotypical tube-y warmth. Currently fitted with Tung-Sol KT 120 power tubes and RCA 6BQ7 drivers. They have approximately 100 hours on them. I would encourage anyone interested to view and read RAM's website and philosophy. Rated conservatively. On Stereophile's list of recommended components for several years in a row, including 2018.
