For sale is a superb vintage Sherwood S7700 tube receiver. This Sherwood has been professionally restored using vintage, period correct parts and it sounds great. No hum or other noise or issues with this one. Everything works. FM radio is wonderful and the phono section works well. This comes with both a wooden Sherwood case in what looks like walnut veneer to me, as well as the more common metal/leatherette case.I bought this locally from a gentleman on Craigslist who sells vintage tube gear. His "tech" did the work on the Sherwood. The faceplate is in very good shape overall but is not perfect. Paint is wiped clean in a small area near the tuner from years of dialing.
