For sale is a very unusual pair of tube monoblocks using the 6B4G tube in push pull configuration. The 6B4G is a 2A3 with a different base. These amps put out around 16-18 watts of superb sound, and to my ears sound much more like SET amps than push pull amplifiers. Built on Magnavox console amp chassis with the great quality 50’s/60’s Magnavox transformers. The parts are industrial but are quite good quality. As you can see the hammertone paint is rubbing off in a few places and the amps have the general industrial aesthetic that many of these console chassis amps typically display. Captured power cords. These were built in the 90s or early 2000s and were formerly owned by Charley Kittleson of Vacuum Tube Valley. Tubes are 6SL7, 6SN7, pair 6B4G, pair 5R4 per amp. All tubes included. Great sounding amps that have run flawlessly in my living room for the past 8 months or so. I’ve put 500 hours or more on these with no issues. Thanks for looking and questions welcomed.
