The current retail price of $27,900 is the current price but it no longer comes with Western Electric 300Bs or NOS 6L6GC tubes. This is the best tube amp I have ever heard. If you have always wanted a 300B SET this amp is for you. The EC 300B was designed and built by Nobu Shishido, before he died. Wavac still builds this amp today, but all their new designs are not his designs. I think the EC 300B is the best amp Wavac has made. You can read my review on Dagogo at the link below or the review on Enjoy the Music.This particular amp I purchased from the importer. I had used it for my reference amp for the last 8 years. It works perfectly, but does show some ware in the back and on the transformer covers. I never had the glass front and cover, but they just break so hardly anyone does. I have included pictures. It comes with a set of NOS Sylvania 6L6GC tubes that have fewer than 100 hours on them. I also have a brand new set of current 6L6GCs and the original 6L6GCs that came with the amp. I have 3 sets of the Western Electric 435As. One set is well used, but measure good. The other two sets I purchased NOS in case the others ever fail. This is the second set of Western Electric 300Bs. They measure about 80%. One has a tiny peace of loose glass on the inside, but the seals or tight and a lot of WE 300Bs have a loose peace of glass. This set is from the Huntsville, Al plant and while not as good as those from the 50s and 60s I found them superior to the ones that had been made latter in Kansas City. Which is why I replaced the Kansas City ones I owned. Look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. The rating of 7 is due to age and the cosmetic things I mentioned. Again, it works perfectly.
