Up for sale is one type 205D tube made by Western Electric. Made in the USA and of vintage production.Black phenolic base. Etched glass printing. Clean pins and glass, considering age. Tight base with no cracks.
Glass has some discoloration. No large chunks loose inside. Intact glass arbors. Tested on a Hickok TV-7D, recently calibrated by Daniel Nelson. Min mutual conductance for the 205D tube on the TV7 is 37 (925 umohs).
Anode current measured during the test. Tested with 4.3v on the filaments. Good, usable 205D's usually test above ~50. New is ~60. Test results-
Hickok results- 59 (1475 umohs). Anode current- 13 mA. The tube passed the gas test and no shorts were detected.
