TCCO / TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal) clock system as reference frequenty coupled by adaptation of clock distribution system (CDS). TCCO / TCXO is an extremely High-End and expensive clock system with better than 5ppm (part-per-million) accuracy - 200 fold improvement over standard oscillators used in most CD-players. Clock distribution system (CDS)
The first in China that employs this High-End technique. Each component requiring the reference frequency is equipped with an independent pathway, with precise IMP matching. Digital signal reflection interference to analog signal circuits are banned. TCCO / TCXO + CDS have turned the E% into a supreme accurate and high performance digital transport as well.
Heavy duty design
net weight over 23 lbs or 10 kilos. The 13 mm thick anodized aluminium front panel and side panels with thick zinc plated steel as under plate (3mm) all provide excellent stability to the transport system with anti-electromagnetic interference capability.
Pure class A RCA analog output stage

10 sets of isolated stable voltage supply employing the unique CCES technique to all digital and analog signal pathways completely tackles cross interference.
Total separated buffered circuit design
The newly developed current servo circuit as opposite to the traditional DC servo circuit system is a great improvement on low frequency extension and resolution.
Crystal 4390 DAC
The E5 isbased on a Crystal CS 4390 DA converter with reduced jitter sensitivity. This IC delivers a wonderfully fluid, non-mechanical sounding midrange and treble with an exceptional smooth resolution of fine details. The Crystal CS 4390 enables a theoretical oversampling at 128 times 44,100 Hz. That is 5,644,800 Hz. This is twice the speed of DVD-audio/SACD. Most upsampling only reaches 192 kHz. A famous musical DAC with ultra high s/n ratio employed in High-End CD-players such as the Gamut CD1 MKII and the Meridian 508.24. Audio engineers have claimed that the Crystal 4390 has a superb performance standard and the potential of this DAC has not been fully extracted so far. Stable power supply
