I can also email a PDF copy of the manual. I am offering this unit with modifications to upgrade the audio performance (reference http://dogbreath.de/PS1/output/output.html). This Playstation model uses the popular AKM4309 DAC. The modifications to the output stage remove op amps and muting transistors that degrade the audio quality. Coupling capacitors and resistors are in the analog output stage are replaced with high quality Elna Silmic II capacitors, Dale metal film resistors and Mundorf Silver-Gold hook-up wire to add clarity, soundstage depth and extended frequency response in the bass and treble. The warm midrange highlighted in the aforementioned reviews is completely and retained. I also upgrade the power supply capacitors to improve dynamic response and bass extension. If you have a large CD collection, this is a highly musical playback system. I have sold many modified Playstation 1 consoles on Audio Asylum's Trader Asylum and through Audiogon, and I have many satisfied customers. You may already have stock Playstation 1 console that you would like to have modified.
