This is a neutral sounding dac originally designed for studios and mastering- non fatiguing and very transparent . Most reviewers find it less"analytic " than the Benchmark . As a bonus it has a great headphone amp which works with any impedance can. Sample rate support up to 96/24 including 88 hz. The DA 10 has toslink, RCA and XLR inputs and XLR outputs along with a dedicated headphone amp. Other features include mono/stereo switching and a phase control. XLR/RCA adapters included if needed to run in unbalanced mode.Volume is controlled by an analog dip switch which is fully transparent at all levels and does not have the problems of a potentiometer or pot.
Uniquely, the Lavry DA10 offers three clocking modes: Wide, Narrow and Crystal. Wide is intended for non‑standard sample rates between 30 and 200 kHz.The Narrow option uses the more common two‑stage PLL design. The Crystal model results in the lowest jitter levels and best sound. Incoming audio data is stored in a buffer and clocked out by an extremely low‑jitter internal clock and then filtered to smooth out the tiny steps and remove any remaining interference.
Condition is a conservative 8/10 with box and manual . Selling only as I am using the internal dac in my Tact processor. Check my feedback and buy with confidence.Payment by PayPal +3% or Interac transfer in Canada. Reduced price with free shipping with tracking Canada/US
