Mark Levinson Reference 30.6 DAC & 31 Transport & power supply, remote manuals Hands down some of the greatest audio in the world. Levinson/Madrigal Audio has consistently provided some of the best sounding, best looking, best built, and yes some of the most expensive audio on the market. All of this greatness is in excellent sonic condition in very good, very living roomable condition.p, pictures should tell the story. These are the Model 31 Reference Transport,(serial #0605) with the
30.6 Reference Digital processor (serial # 1276) and PS -330 power supply
serial (#1309). The Transport went to Madrigal in the last few years for service and at that time 10
capacitors were replaced along with the following, New Ic digital EPROM installed, high speed
xmitter, spring suspension support, foam shock absorbers, CPU display
cable, and CPU evo cable assembly. This was not the 31.5 upgrade but a lot
of godies were replaced. Transit screws and platter matt are included. Unit plays perfectly and sounds incredible.
The 30.6 started life as a 30.5 but was upgraded to 30.6 by Levinson and is current, faceplate was not updated, there is not a $400 sonic improvement in a faceplate. both were serviced by
authorized Levinson repair agent in 2010. Power supply received new capacitors thru out so should be good for many years to come.
