This sale is of first-series V-DACs, but the first-series specifications state that it handles PCM sampling rates up to 192kHz. These 5 V-DACs were donated to The Friends of the Knight Memorial Library by the former US importer (Thanks!). Therefore we are identifying their status as “New/Other” in that these are discontinued overstock items and they show some signs of handling and shelf wear. These items are in the old clear-plastic clamshell plastic boxes, and not the more recent silver cardboard-box packaging. The DAC itself is in Near Mint condition. The packaging is EX because the clamshell case has some obvious scuffing and other signs of wear to the case. The case shows signs of having been opened at one time. Apart from the packaging, all the units appear in great shape.
