The only blemish I could is a tiny 'pin prick' on the front. Barely visible.

it should be a 9/10 if it weren't for the tiny pin prick mark. The flexibility of inputs is great, you can plug in: USB, SPDIF (RCA), AES/EBU, 2x HDMI (with video pass through) and Toslink.
It can be used as a Digital Pre amp with volume control.
