This ad is for the Power Conversion Service of a PS Audio PerfectWave DAC MkI and MkII.
After selling over a dozen PWD's abroad and getting the same request every time, I decided to offer this service to anyone that has a PS Audio PWD MkI or MkII and wants the power converted from 120V to 240V or from 240V to 120V.
PS Audio will charge you $400 for this service and a lead time of up to 10 days.
I am offering it for only $175 with a lead time of at most 2 business days.
You simply send your PWD to me.
I convert your PWD to the correct voltage. Within 2 business days the PWD is on its way back to you.
Before sending your PWD back I will test it for functionality on the voltage that you wanted it converted to.
Now that I think about it, $400 is not even that much if they also do all the work I put in to make sure you are a happy customer. And I must be crazy to do it for only $175...
For your convenience I can offer you a Flat Rate of $75 for shipping both ways by either USPS or Fedex, Insured for up to $500. Regardless of where you are in the Continental USA.
(if you want to insure for more than $500, you are responsible for the extra insurance cost)
International Buyers that do not want to have the expense of shipping it to me and you are comfortable with doing it yourself, I can email you detailed instructions with pictures and email support if you have any questions.
Now for some important bits to cover your butt: Before sending the PWD to me, please make detailed pictures of your PWD and the condition of the box, including a picture of the serial number. Describe any physical damage. Just to make sure you get your own PWD back and in the same condition as you sent it to me.
And now I am covering my butt: Once your PWD comes in I will make pictures of the condition of the box and of the steps opening the box and removing your PWD. I check for any damage not reported by you and make pictures. I will test the PWD on functionality. I do not convert PWD's that do not function correct.
Once I open the PWD the PS Audio warranty is void and most likely also any extended or extra warranty purchased from a third party.
I do not accept a PWD that is not shipped in its original PS Audio double box. They will be returned unopened and any shipping cost will not be refunded.
Also, I am not responsible for any damage or loss during shipping to and from me. It is up to you to contact the insurance company. I will assist with any pictures and emails needed to describe the damage to the insurance company.
