Up for sale is my Schiit Bifrost DAC, which is in perfect condition and just barely broken in with about 25 hours on it. Designed and built in the USA by renown audio designers Jason Stoddard and Mike Moffat, his DAC has been receiving accolades in audiophile circles for it's amazingperformance at an affordable price. I was shocked when I first unpacked this unit at how heavy and solid it is for it's size. The design is clean and straightforward, with aluminum surfaces. This unit features two digital inputs - a Toslink and Coaxial SPDIF, both with performance up to 32bits/192kHz. (A USB 2.0 input is available from Schiit as an upgrade.) The DAC is also made to be fully upgradeable. As technology changes (new chip sets, etc), you can upgrade this DAC with parts from the factory. (They call it "future-proof."). Unlike much of new technology, this unit won't be a door stop ten years from now.I'm only selling this unit because (like an idiot) I keep looking at audio classifieds and bought a much more expensive DAC, and I don't need two. (This unit more than holds its own against its much more expensive replacement.) This is in perfect condition with no marks, and includes the original power cord, box, packaging, and manual.
