Up for sale, an original, used, very large power transformer, made in USA by Pacific Transformer, I think, late 1970s. Clean. Recently removed from powerful, working, solid-state commercial stereo power amplifier, BGW Systems 500D.
Numbers on end bell: 0900-0751, 1052 7751.Measured/tested while still installed and it made + and - 80VDC after bridge rectifier. Current unknown but will easily supply 300 watts x 2 amp, since this same transformer was used in the larger BGW 750D amp. 120/240VAC in. Use this to build your own monster amp. I have hookup schematic. Primaries and secondaries will be labelled but you must be able to test and hook up safely.
Physical size: 6.5" x 4.4" base x 5.3" high. Asking $45, plus ship. Well-packed and shipped within US for $14 by US Postal flat rate box, best rate for this heavy transformer.
