Get a good discount on these AKG K1000 headphones with original wooden box and shipping box. Either use as-is or restore these back to their original glory. You can see from the photos that the wiring has been worn down to the cloth and one side of the the pads are flattened.If you haven't heard the AKG K1000s, it's really remarkable if you're into natural effortless sound. They're headphones for people who recognize the shortcomings of traditional headphones. Not to say these don't have their own, but as someone who primarily listens to large speakers, these were the closest I found to the sound of a good set of speakers.
