Items available until Jan. 9th only:This is a mint condition set of upgraded (see below) CIA VHP-2 head amp. (ser. no. HB7742) and CIA VAC-1 power supply (ser. no. BB5727). Functionally, this combo is in perfect working condition (ie, very smooth volume control). Cosmetically, they are "as new"; they are perfect. Stock features of note: Low gain (6dB) and high gain (15dB) have driven my 32 O. Denon DT2000 and 600 O. Beyerdynamic phones without a problem. Solid state. Runs cool; can be put in tight spaces. Very neutral. Upgraded items with common sense cost effective improvements easily heard by ear:
* 8 Herbie's Baby Booties feet (4 under each unit).
* HiFi Supreme Tuning fuse. Proved to bring out better dynamics and detail.
* Revelation Audio Labs "Parable" CryoSilver Reference power cable. This item alone increased resolution and smoothness markedly. I do not have a PayPal account; I prefer a USPS MO.
