I've been under the weather recently and have been lax to get these posted... but I had a couple deals recently where I took in a bunch of trade in pieces to pay for the new gear being purchased. One very good customer who's bought a LOT of stuff from me recently (and has become a good friend beyond just the dealer/customer relationship) had to agree to trade in more stuff than he wanted to sell in order to be able to buy a complete AURALiC stack of gear and some other new pieces like the ENIGMAcoustic Dharma headphones about to ship. He wanted to keep it all but had to compromise with his better half so that he wasn't too out of control a collector in her eyes :) All of this stuff is extremely low hours... some of it has only been in the customer's possession for a month or two, nothing more than 4-5 months... and given how many systems of stuff they've bought from me, unless they were playing them all at the same time 24/7, I believe their assessment of the ultra low hours of use... I tried to give as high a trade in price as possible to limit that... so I am putting break even or even slight losses prices on these items to limit the amount of work and time involved to get them re-sold.
